Three layout forms of ISUZU truck-mounted cranes:

1. Front-mounted type: The crane is installed between the cab and the cargo box (see Figure a). This arrangement has high utilization of the cargo box and is suitable for packing boxed items. The crane is close to the truck engine. Its hydraulic system has short pipelines, high work efficiency, easy layout.

2. Mid-mounted type: The crane is installed in the middle of the cargo box (see Figure b). The boom in this arrangement is short and does not change the center of gravity of the vehicle. It is suitable for loading pipes and strip goods. But the utilization rate of the cargo box is low.

3. Rear-mounted type: The crane is installed at the rear of the cargo box (see Figure C). The utilization of the cargo box is high, and the cargo in the trailer towed by the vehicle can be easily loaded and unloaded. However, the rear axle is easily overloaded, the frame is not well stressed, and the hydraulic pipeline is too long and inconveniently arranged.
