Isuzu Electric Compression Garbage Truck Operation Instructions
1. Basic Introduction
Isuzu Electric Compression Garbage Truck adopts new energy drive technology and is equipped with a large-capacity lithium iron phosphate battery pack with a range of more than 200 kilometers. The vehicle is equipped with an intelligent electronic control system and a hydraulic drive device, which can complete garbage loading, compression, transfer and self-unloading functions. Its core structure consists of three parts: a sealed garbage compartment, a shovel mechanism, a loader, and a flip frame. During operation, the hydraulic system can achieve a garbage compression ratio of 1:3, effectively improving transportation efficiency and avoiding sewage leakage.




2. Operation process specifications
(01) Preparation before operation
Vehicle inspection
Check the tire pressure and wear status to ensure that there is no leakage or cracks6;
Confirm that the hydraulic oil level is within the calibration range and the battery power is ≥80%25;
Test that the lighting system (turn signal, brake light, operation warning light) functions normally6. System start
Press the clutch pedal, turn on the power take-off switch and hold for 5 seconds, and release the clutch after the power indicator light comes on;
Start the hydraulic pump and observe whether the pressure gauge is stable below 16Mpa. If abnormal, stop the machine immediately for maintenance.
(02) Garbage loading operation
Manual mode
Switch the remote control to manual mode, press and hold the "turn bucket up" button to lower the turn frame to the ground;
Push the garbage can into the turn frame slot, press the "turn bucket down" button to lift the garbage can to the filling port at a constant speed;
Press the "scraper expansion" button, the slide plate drives the scraper to insert the garbage for crushing and compression, and the cycle operation is carried out until the filler is fully loaded.
Automatic mode
Select the "single cycle" mode of the remote control, and the system automatically executes the "scraper expansion → slide plate downward compression → scraper closing → slide plate upward reset" process;
If continuous operation is required, switch to the "continuous cycle" mode, and the shovel automatically retreats according to the compression amount to adjust the garbage distribution density1.
(03) Garbage unloading operation
Rear door opening
Press and hold the "Loader Lift" button to raise the loader to a 75° inclination angle5;
Press the "Bulldozer Push" button, and the hydraulic bulldozer will push the garbage out of the compartment at a speed of 0.2m/s1.
Reset operation
After unloading is completed, press the "Bulldozer Retract" button to reset the bulldozer, and then press the "Loader Down" button to close the rear door;
Execute the "Slide Cleaning" function to remove the residual garbage in the loader.



(04) Finishing steps
Turn off the power take-off and disconnect the main power switch;
Clean the vehicle exterior and drain the accumulated liquid in the sewage tank;
Fill in the "Operation Record Form" to record the remaining battery power and hydraulic system status.
3. Safety precautions
(01) Operation taboos
It is forbidden to put in materials
Construction waste (such as bricks and concrete) may damage the scraper hydraulic cylinder;
High temperature or corrosive substances may cause the sealing ring to fail1. System protection requirements
When the hydraulic oil temperature exceeds 65°C, the operation must be suspended to avoid oil oxidation;
The pressure of the multi-way reversing valve overflow valve must not be adjusted privately (factory setting 16Mpa).
(02) Special scenario handling
Slope operation
When unloading, it is necessary to ensure that the vehicle is at a 90° angle to the slope to prevent the center of gravity from shifting;
When the slope is greater than 10°, the "continuous compression" function is disabled.
Fault emergency
Sudden hydraulic leakage: Immediately press the red emergency stop button and turn off the power take-off;
Electrical system short circuit: Use an insulated wrench to disconnect the main switch of the high-voltage distribution box.



(03) Maintenance specifications Periodic maintenance
Every 50 hours: Lubricate the flip frame hinge and skateboard guide;
Every 500 hours: Replace the hydraulic oil filter and check the balance of the battery pack.
Long-term storage
Keep the battery SOC in the range of 30%-60%, and perform a charge and discharge cycle once a month;
Apply anti-rust grease to the piston rod of the hydraulic cylinder to prevent oxidation and rust.
