▶ Fire Extinguishing Principle:
The entire fire extinguishing system uses a JBQ5.3/9 fire pump in the pump room as its power source. The pump establishes water pressure, connecting the tank, PH64 proportioner, and PS8/20 fire monitor on the roof to achieve two modes: pure water extinguishing and foam extinguishing, respectively handling Class A solid fires and Class B oil/flammable liquid fires.
●. Pure Water Extinguishing Mode (Suppressing Solid Fires)
1. Open the water tank outlet valve, allowing clean water to flow into the pipeline and into the fire pump; the pump pressurizes the water, creating a high-pressure water flow.
2. The pressurized water is delivered to the roof-mounted fire monitor. The fire monitor can rotate 360° horizontally and has an adjustable pitch angle, supporting both direct current and water mist spray patterns: the direct current jet directly targets the fire point from a distance, quickly cooling and extinguishing the fire; the water mist mode forms a water curtain for cooling, smoke isolation, and protection of surrounding facilities.
3. The vehicle can also connect to external water sources such as rivers, ponds, and fire hydrants. A JBQ5.3/9 pump provides self-priming water, continuously supplying water to the fire monitor system.
4. The hoses and nozzles connected to the pump house outlet can be directly connected to the pump house outlet for close-range ground-based fire suppression.
●. Foam Fire Extinguishing Mode (For Oil and Flammable Liquid Fires)
1. The fire pump draws clean water from the tank to establish pipeline water pressure. The water flows through the PH64 foam-water proportioning mixer.
2. Utilizing the negative pressure of the pipeline water flow, foam concentrate is automatically drawn from the stainless steel foam tank and thoroughly mixed with water according to the standard ratio to generate a qualified foam mixture.
3. The foam mixture is delivered to the fire monitor on the vehicle roof or to the fire hose and foam nozzle connected to the pump house outlet for spraying. The sprayed foam completely covers the surface of the burning oil, isolating it from oxygen in the air to suffocate the fire; simultaneously, the foam's own moisture continuously absorbs heat and cools the area, effectively inhibiting reignition.
4. Depending on the fire situation, the foam pipeline can be switched off to return to pure water spray mode.
