▶ Working Principle:
The foam fire truck is equipped with water and foam tank, fire pump, foam liquid tank, and proportioning mixing device, powered by the chassis engine. The vehicle has dual-mode operation capabilities:
• It can simply draw clean water, pressurize it with the pump, and spray it through hoses and fire monitors to extinguish conventional solid fires;
• It can also activate the foam proportioning mixing system to mix clean water and foam liquid according to a standard ratio, pressurize it with the pump, and then spray it through fire hoses or the onboard fire monitor. The mixture fully integrates with air to form air foam. The foam can quickly cover the surface of flammable liquids, isolating them from air, cooling and retardant the flames, inhibiting oil and gas volatilization, and preventing reignition. It is specifically designed for flammable liquid fires in gas stations, chemical plants, oil depots, and other similar locations.
