Moro's new AIR Series cooled vacuum rotary vane pumps are designed for industrial applications and represent the highest standards in vacuum technology. Their core operating principle is that rotating vanes within the pump chamber compress and expel gas from the inlet to the outlet, while the pump oil provides sealing, lubrication, and cooling.

♦ A special inspection port is provided in the pump body for visual inspection.
♦ A check valve and a four-way valve are integrated into the pump.
♦ The new AIR series models feature an upgraded injection system to improve heat transfer in heavy-duty applications.
♦ High-quality fluororubber oil seals – last longer than traditional oil seals.
♦ Low speed extends pump life.
♦ A large open manifold design reduces noise and air friction.
♦ High-performance Kevlar vanes with a visual inspection port in the housing.
♦ High-quality fluororubber oil seals – last longer than traditional oil seals.

» Ⅳ. Work Principle:
Moro's new AIR series vacuum pumps utilize an advanced air-cooled rotary vane principle. At its core is a precision-machined eccentric rotor that rotates at high speed within the pump chamber. High-performance vanes are installed within the rotor's slots. Centrifugal force and an advanced lubrication system ensure a constant, close fit against the pump chamber's inner wall.

As the rotor rotates, the vanes divide the pump chamber into multiple working chambers whose volumes periodically change. The operation proceeds in three stages: in the suction zone, the working chamber volume increases, creating a vacuum and drawing in gas; in the compression zone, the vanes isolate and compress the gas, raising its pressure and temperature; and in the exhaust zone, when the gas pressure exceeds the set point of the exhaust valve, the valve opens, releasing the compressed gas.
This Moro PM60A 254 CFM Air Cooled Pump utilizes an innovative air-cooling design, optimizing the heat dissipation structure and airflow path to ensure stable temperature and performance during continuous operation. The pump oil plays multiple critical roles in the system: lubricating moving parts, sealing microscopic gaps, and conducting heat from compression. Furthermore, the intelligent gas ballast system effectively handles condensable vapors, preventing them from condensing and contaminating the pump oil, significantly extending maintenance intervals. The whole machine achieves a more energy-saving, more stable and more durable vacuum acquisition capability through precise mechanical design, efficient air cooling system and intelligent functional configuration, fully reflecting the advanced level of modern industrial pump technology.
