The biggest features of this vehicle are its large fluid capacity, good maneuverability and easy maintenance. 4. The carriage is made of high-quality steel and high-strength aluminum alloy profiles. The inner and outer skins are made of corrugated aluminum plates. The tank body is designed with multiple wave-proof plates.

5. Preparation before operation of Isuzu Giga fire truck

1. Check the lubricating oil level in the bearing box and diversion pump. If insufficient, replenish it.

2. Close all drain cocks and valves.

Isuzu Giga fire trucks divert and inject water

1. When using water from the pond, remove the suction pipe, connect one end to the pump suction port, connect the other end to the water filter and put it into the pond, close the rear water inlet butterfly valve, open the water diversion valve, and then add water to the water tank. Fill with water.

2. When using water from the fire hydrant, use a water hose to connect the fire hydrant to the water injection interface outside the water tank, and the water is directly injected into the water tank.

When the fire truck uses water from the water tank, open the rear water inlet butterfly valve, start the fire pump, and perform the following operations:

1. Low pressure water outlet

After the fire pump is working, open the low-pressure water outlet ball valve to realize low-pressure water outlet.

2. Cannon comes out of water

When working at low pressure, close the low-pressure water outlet ball valve and open the cannon ball valve to realize the water discharge from the cannon to extinguish the fire.

Precautions for Isuzu Giga fire trucks

1. After using the fire truck water pump, open all the residual water drain switches on the pump to drain the remaining water in the pump. After the remaining water is drained, close all switches to facilitate anti-freezing and next use.

2. After the water pump has been used in seawater, sewage, corrosive water flow and foam mixture, it should be run with clean water for more than 1 minute to clean out the residual liquid in the pump.

3. Check the lubrication condition in the bearing regularly. If it is lower than the oil level, make up for it.

4. After using the fire pump of the fire truck in winter, run the piston pump several times to drain the remaining water in the piston pump to prevent freezing.

5. The water pump is strictly prohibited from idling without water for a long time (more than 1 minute).
