Chassis Configuration
• Chassis: Isuzu GIGA 6x4 heavy-duty truck chassis
• Wheelbase: 4600mm + 1370mm
• Engine: Equipped with an Isuzu 6UZ1-TCG61 inline six-cylinder diesel engine.
Displacement and Power: Large displacement, output reaches 380 horsepower, and the torque reserve of 1800 Nm provides ample power for water pump operation and vehicle driving.
• Transmission: Equipped with a ZF 8-speed manual transmission.
Superstructure and Function
1. Water Tank
• Capacity: 20 cubic meters (approximately 20 tons). Made of high-quality carbon steel, it features a curved design, corrosion- and rust-resistant interior treatment, and wave-breaking panels to reduce swaying.
2. Spraying System
The vehicle is equipped with four standard spraying devices, providing all-round, multi-mode watering capabilities:
• Front Spray: Installed under the front of the vehicle, it uses high-speed water to flush the road surface, displacing dust and debris to the sides of the road for efficient cleaning.
• Rear Spray : Located on both sides of the rear platform of the water tank, it sprays in a fan-shaped pattern to the left and right, primarily used for road dust reduction and landscaping irrigation, with wide coverage.
• Rear Water Cannon : Installed on the rear working platform of the vehicle. The cannon muzzle rotates 360 degrees, with adjustable spray angles, enabling long-range watering, high-altitude dust reduction, tree washing, and even serving as auxiliary firefighting equipment in emergencies.
• Right Spray Nozzle on the Rear Tank: Two nozzles, typically used for targeted spraying in specific areas or to supplement rear spraying to expand coverage.
3. Pump System
• Pump Model: Yifeng 80QZF60/90S centrifugal water pump.
• Performance Parameters:
o Flow rate: 60 m³/h, providing fast pumping and spraying speeds and high efficiency.
o Head: 90 m, providing extremely high spray pressure, ensuring the rear water monitor can achieve long-distance and high-altitude operation requirements. The front flush and rear sprinkler systems deliver powerful water discharge for enhanced flushing and cleaning effects.
o Self-priming time: 1.5 min/4 m, with strong self-priming capacity, significantly reducing pre-pumping preparation time and improving work efficiency. It also has strong adaptability to water sources.
o Input speed: 1180 r/min, a moderate speed, ensuring the pump operates at the optimal operating point, achieving the specified flow rate and head, while also ensuring pump life and efficiency.
• Function: Supports pumping in and out, which can draw water from external water sources such as rivers and ponds, and can also pressurize the water in the tank for spraying.
4. Safety and Convenience Design
• Piping System: Utilizing high-strength steel pipes and a professional pump inlet and outlet piping layout, the system is pressure-resistant and rust-resistant, optimizing water flow and reducing pressure loss to ensure long-term stable operation.
• Tail Platform Guardrail and Ladder: Allows workers to safely and easily access the tank roof platform for operations such as using anti-aircraft guns and observing the tank interior.
• Roof Anti-Slip Walkway and Guardrail: A roof anti-slip walkway and guardrail provide safety for workers working on the tank roof, preventing slips and falls.
• Manhole: A roof manhole provides convenient access to the tank interior for cleaning, inspection, and maintenance.
» Ⅳ. Working Principle:
After the vehicle is started, the engine transmits power to the transmission via the PTO, which drives the Yifeng 80QZF60/90S centrifugal water pump via the transfer gear. The rotating impeller generates centrifugal force, creating a negative pressure zone. This draws water from the tank bottom or an external water source into the pump chamber. This pressurized water forms a stable high-pressure stream, which is then distributed through pipes to four devices: the front flush (road washing), the rear sprinkler (green belt irrigation), the rear water monitor (long-range dust suppression/fire extinguishing), and the top nozzle (localized wetting). Solenoid valves independently control the opening and closing of each branch, as well as the flow rate. The pump's inlet and outlet design supports reverse drainage, enabling rapid emptying or circulation of the water tank.
