The Isuzu KV100 6-cubic-meter garbage compactor truck operates based on the synergy of hydraulic drive and electronic control, achieving efficient garbage collection and transportation:
The hydraulic system is the core power source. The engine drives a gear pump, generating high-pressure oil flow, which is distributed to various actuators via a multi-way valve. During loading, hydraulic oil drives the scraper blades to rotate and open, and the slide plate moves downward. During the compaction phase, the scraper blades close and the slide plate moves upward, scraping the garbage from the filler into the garbage bin. This repeated operation compact the garbage multiple times, reducing its volume. During unloading, the tailgate lift cylinder operates, and the pusher blade pushes out to dump the garbage.

The electronic control system integrates operational commands via the CAN-BUS bus. A control panel located in the cab allows for one-touch operation start and stop, switching between loading and unloading modes, raising and lowering the filler, pushing the shovel, and clearing functions. The tailgate control box supports fine manual adjustments, such as cycle operation, slide plate, and scraper movement. In conjunction with the manual control valve on the driver's side, commands are given to the hydraulic system, which drives various hydraulic components to complete garbage collection, compaction, and unloading.
