Isuzu GIGA 8X4 chassis is equipped with a classic 6WG1-TCG62 inline six-cylinder diesel engine with a displacement of 15.681 liters, a maximum power of 520 horsepower, and a peak torque of up to 2250N·m (@1800rpm). This engine adopts high-pressure common rail fuel injection and turbocharged intercooling technology, taking into account low fuel consumption and high reliability, meeting the National VI emission standards, and adapting to the continuous operation requirements under complex working conditions.
● Transmission system
The transmission system is matched with Fast's 12-speed manual transmission, which has dense gear ratios and a multi-axis drive design to achieve smooth heavy-load starting and slope escape capabilities. ● Five-section synchronous telescopic boom: 23.7m operating radius and 520kN·m lifting torque
Lifting efficiency: maximum lifting weight 20 tons, maximum working radius 23.7 meters, lifting height up to 25 meters, maximum lifting torque 520kN·m. The boom is welded with high-strength steel plates, and the cross-section is an optimized U-shaped structure, which strikes a balance between lightness and torsion resistance. The five-section telescopic arm is deployed synchronously through the hydraulic cylinder (hydraulic system with a recommended flow rate of 80+50L/min), with smooth movement and precise positioning, covering various scenarios such as high-altitude installation and equipment lifting.
Operation and control: The crane supports 360° full rotation, which is independently controlled by the manual hydraulic joysticks on both sides behind the cab and the high-altitude operating levers, including leg extension and extension, boom amplitude change, hook head lifting and rotation. The operating valve group integrates pressure protection function to avoid overload risks. The slewing mechanism adopts cross roller bearings, which have low rotation resistance and impact resistance, and are suitable for frequent reversing operations.
Outrigger system: H-type hydraulic outriggers are equipped on both sides of the chassis, and the span can be adjusted between 2436~8396mm. Folding pads are installed at the end of the outriggers to disperse the ground pressure. The horizontal and vertical cylinders are controlled by manual valves to achieve rapid leveling, adapting to different ground conditions such as soft soil and asphalt.




● Cargo box and detailed design
The carbon steel cargo box measures 7200×2350×550mm, the bottom plate is made of 5mm patterned anti-skid steel plate, and the side plate is removable to expand the loading and unloading space. The center of gravity of the cargo box and the crane layout is optimized to ensure that the load on the front and rear axles is reasonably distributed during driving.
Safety configurations include hook limiters, torque limiters, and interlocking devices for outriggers that are not deployed, which monitor the operating status in real time and prompt risks through alarms.
